OHIO — An Ohio, man has been indicted on multiple charges related to cyberstalking and making online threats against three individuals.
A federal grand jury in Cleveland returned a six-count indictment against Logan Stanford, 28, of Shelby, accusing him of engaging in cyberstalking and making interstate threatening communications.
According to the indictment, Stanford targeted his victims between Sept. 1, 2021, and May 31, 2024, using various electronic communication methods.
Prosecutors allege Stanford created multiple online accounts under different names to harass his victims, sending them repeated messages through email, instant messaging, and social media.
Many of the messages were sexual or violent in nature and included threats of physical harm.
The case is being investigated by the FBI Cleveland Division and is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorneys Christopher J. Joyce and Michelle M. Baeppler for the Northern District of Ohio.
