NORTH CAROLINA — Police in Stanley were investigating a shooting reported Friday morning near a Dollar General store in Gaston County.
Officers responded on Feb. 27 to the store located on East Dallas Road.
According to police, two people were involved in the incident and are believed to know each other. One person was treated at the scene. The other individual was taken into custody.
Authorities said there is no ongoing threat to the public.
The investigation remains ongoing.
