OHIO — One person is hospitalized following a suspected domestic violence incident late Thursday night in east Columbus.
Columbus police responded to the 1700 block of Channing Way Court, near North Brice Road, just before midnight.
Upon arrival, officers found a male with a stab wound and a female with a head injury.
The male was transported to a hospital in critical condition but is expected to survive, according to Columbus public safety dispatchers.
Authorities believe the two individuals are a couple. However, it remains unclear who the suspect and the victim are.
Both individuals have been detained as the investigation continues.
The Columbus Police Department’s domestic violence team was called to the scene.
