ILLINOIS — A death investigation is underway after a man was found dead on a CTA Brown Line train Tuesday morning, according to Chicago police.
Authorities said the discovery was made around 5:15 a.m. in the 900 block of West Belmont Avenue.
Police reported that an adult male was found unresponsive inside a train car. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officials have not released the man’s identity.
Detectives are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death, pending autopsy results.
