OHIO — Authorities are investigating after a dead body was found near a Montgomery County neighborhood on Sunday morning.
According to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the 3000 block of Montevideo Drive around 8:30 a.m. after receiving reports of a body in a brush-covered area.
The location is near a popular ballpark.
Due to the body’s state of decomposition, the coroner’s office will determine the cause of death and work to identify the individual.
The sheriff’s office has not released further details as the investigation continues.
