SOUTH CAROLINA — A death investigation is underway after a woman was found dead inside a vehicle Monday afternoon in Greenville, South Carolina, authorities said.
The Greenville County Coroner’s Office and the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Judson Mill District on Easley Bridge Road just before 5 p.m. after receiving a 911 call.
According to deputies, the call was made by a family member who discovered the woman inside the vehicle. Authorities said the body showed “obvious signs of trauma.”
No additional details about the victim or the circumstances surrounding the death were immediately released. The investigation remains ongoing.
