PENNSYLVANIA — Allegheny County Police are investigating after one man was found dead and another injured inside a West Mifflin home late Saturday night.
Officers were called to a residence on Thompson Run Road for a welfare check just before 11 p.m., police said. Inside, they discovered one man deceased and another suffering from lacerations. The injured man was transported to a hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.
Investigators said preliminary findings indicate the two men were involved in some type of altercation. The cause of death for the deceased man has not yet been determined.
Detectives are working with the Allegheny County District Attorney’s Office to decide whether charges will be filed. Police emphasized there is no threat to the public and that all individuals connected to the incident have been accounted for.
