KENTUCKY — Louisville Metro Police are asking for the public’s help as they investigate the death of a man found inside a home Tuesday afternoon near Iroquois Park.
According to LMPD spokesperson Aaron Ellis, officers were called to the 5400 block of Carol Way around 12:45 p.m. after receiving a report of a deceased person inside a residence. The location is off Manslick Road and Third Street Road, near the Auburndale and Iroquois Park neighborhoods.
Once on scene, officers found a man inside the home. Ellis said the department’s Homicide Unit was requested to take over the investigation.
An autopsy completed Wednesday revealed that the victim had suffered trauma, Ellis said. The man’s identity has not been released, and investigators have not provided additional details about the circumstances surrounding his death.
Police are now asking anyone who was in the area at the time and may have captured relevant information on a cellphone or home surveillance camera to contact authorities.
