INDIANA — Indianapolis police are investigating after a woman was found shot to death late Monday on the city’s south side.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers were called to the 700 block of Turtle Creek North Drive around 11:54 p.m. Monday on a report of a person shot. Inside a residence, officers found 26-year-old Amanda Sheree Jones with injuries consistent with gunshot wounds. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have not released additional information about the circumstances of the shooting.
The investigation remains ongoing.
