TEXAS — A man was found dead early Saturday morning following an apparent self-inflicted shooting on the northwest side of San Antonio, according to police.
Officers with the San Antonio Police Department were dispatched around 1:44 a.m. to the 7600 block of Autumn Park, near Prue Road, for a reported shooting in progress.
When officers arrived, they found an unidentified man suffering from what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities have not released the man’s identity, and it remains unclear what led up to the incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
