
ILLINOIS — Authorities are investigating after a man was found dead on train tracks Saturday morning in Chicago.
Police said the man was discovered unresponsive around 10:06 a.m. in a tunnel along the CTA Blue Line near the 5400 block of the Eisenhower Expressway.
According to authorities, the man was lying on the tracks when he was found. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other injuries were reported.
Officials said several lanes of the Eisenhower Expressway were temporarily blocked as crews responded to the scene. The Illinois State Police also assisted in the response.
Authorities have not released the man’s identity.
The investigation remains ongoing.
