ALABAMA — Detectives are investigating a death reported early Tuesday morning in downtown Florence, according to the Florence Police Department.
Police said officers were called at approximately 6:50 a.m. to the 300 block of Wallace Street, where a man was found dead. Authorities have not released the victim’s identity, stating only that the deceased was a Black man.
No additional details about the circumstances surrounding the death have been made public. The investigation remains ongoing.
