LOUISIANA — A man was found shot to death Wednesday afternoon in New Orleans East, according to police.
The New Orleans Police Department said officers responded around 4 p.m. on Feb. 25 to a report of a shooting in the 8500 block of Fordham Court.
When officers arrived, they located an adult male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities have not released the victim’s name or age.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation. No additional details were immediately available.
