VIRGINIA — A woman was found dead and a man critically injured Sunday evening at an apartment on Navajo Court, police said.
Officers with the Petersburg Bureau of Police responded at 7:23 p.m. Nov. 23 to a welfare check at an apartment in the 2300 block of Navajo Court. Upon entering, they found a male with life-threatening injuries and a woman deceased in another room.
The male victim was transported to a local hospital, where he remains in critical but stable condition. Police said no suspects are being sought at this time.
