KENTUCKY — A two-vehicle crash on KY 555 early Thursday morning left one man dead and two others seriously injured, according to Kentucky State Police.
Authorities say the crash occurred just before 6:30 a.m. when 56-year-old James Drury of Lawrenceburg lost control of his vehicle due to ice on a bridge.
Drury’s vehicle struck the guardrail multiple times before crossing the centerline and colliding with a vehicle driven by 26-year-old David Waldridge of Bardstown.
Drury was pronounced dead at the scene by the Washington County Coroner.
Waldridge and his passenger, 32-year-old Dustin Pulley of Campbellsville, were transported to local hospitals with serious injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
