OHIO — The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash that left one person dead and two others injured Sunday afternoon in Warren County.
Troopers said the crash happened at about 12:29 p.m. on Dixie Highway, just south of Manchester Road. According to investigators, a 2005 Buick LaCrosse driven by 88-year-old Juanita Sebastian of Franklin veered left of center, crossing the highway median and striking a 2015 Kia Sedona head-on.
All three people involved were taken to local hospitals. Sebastian was later pronounced dead at Atrium Medical Center. The two occupants of the Kia suffered non-life-threatening injuries, though officials have not released additional details on their conditions.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol was assisted at the scene by the Middletown Police Department, the Warren County Sheriff’s Office, Middletown Fire and EMS, the Joint Emergency Medical Services, and Sandy’s Towing.
The crash remains under investigation.
