MISSISSIPPI — The Tunica County Sheriff’s Office has charged two individuals in connection with a fatal shooting that claimed the life of a juvenile Friday evening.
Deputies responded to a 911 call around 5:00 p.m. on June 20 in the 1100 block of Cypress Drive.
Upon arrival, they found an unresponsive Black male juvenile suffering from a gunshot wound.
Despite efforts by Pafford EMS and first responders, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene by Tunica County Coroner Glenn Grant.
Following an initial investigation, two people were detained for questioning.
They have since been identified and charged. The suspects are a 17-year-old juvenile and 18-year-old Decardous Davis, Jr.
