GEORGIA — A 22-year-old man was killed Tuesday evening in a shooting in Conyers, and police are searching for a suspect, authorities said.
Officers with the Conyers Police Department responded to the 1100 block of Forest Villa Drive NW, where they found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was later identified as Kaleb King, 22. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
On Wednesday, police identified 21-year-old Amir Johnson as a suspect in the shooting. Investigators said Johnson is wanted in connection with King’s death.
Police are offering a $5,000 cash reward for information that leads to Johnson’s arrest. Anyone with information related to the case is asked to call or text 678-654-8845 to submit a tip.
The investigation remains ongoing, and no additional details were immediately released.
