MARYLAND — One man is dead and another is in critical condition following a shooting Wednesday evening in Northwest Baltimore.
According to Baltimore police, officers were called around 6:45 p.m. to the 4900 block of Reisterstown Road in the Langston Hughes neighborhood for reports of gunfire.
When officers arrived, they found two unidentified men suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Both victims were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Despite medical efforts, one of the men was pronounced dead at the hospital. The second victim remains in critical condition.
Police have not released the identities of the victims, pending notification of their families.
