FLORIDA — A Thursday evening shooting in the 100 block of Starling Avenue leaves one man dead and another critically injured, authorities say.
Investigators arrive just before 5 p.m. to find two vehicles facing the same direction. One man is pronounced dead at the scene, while another is shot but survives and is taken to the hospital in critical condition.
A neighbor provides video showing a white SUV pulling onto the road and stopping near a vehicle parked in the swale shortly before the shooting begins.
Neighbors say individuals in both vehicles exchange gunfire.
Sheriff’s deputies respond quickly to the scene. Officials say they have identified everyone involved and do not believe there is an ongoing threat to the community.
