TENNESSEE — A man was killed in a shooting early Wednesday morning on North Roan Street, the Johnson City Police Department (JCPD) reported.
Officers responded around 2 a.m. to 2412 N. Roan St., where they found a man in the parking lot suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
The victim, Justin Sturdivant, 37, of Johnson City, died at the scene. Preliminary investigations indicate the shooting stemmed from an argument between two men that turned physical.
Jacob McGlone, 45, of Scottsboro, Ala., was arrested at the scene and charged with first-degree murder, according to JCPD. The department’s Criminal Investigations Division is leading the ongoing investigation.
