NORTH CAROLINA — A man has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder following a fatal shooting in Rockingham County, according to the Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities said the shooting occurred April 8. Investigators reported that Anterrion Spencer arrived at a hospital suffering from a gunshot wound and later died from his injuries.
Following an investigation, deputies arrested Daniel Ian Woods Jr. and charged him in connection with the shooting.
Officials have not released additional details about what led up to the incident.
The investigation remains ongoing, and further information is expected to be released.
