ALABAMA — A woman was shot and killed Tuesday night at Wilmer Hall, according to the Mobile Police Department.
Officers were called to 3811 Old Shell Road around 11:31 p.m. regarding a shooting. When they arrived, they found 28-year-old Amiayia White dead inside the building. Police said the suspect was someone White knew.
On Wednesday, 21-year-old David Smith was arrested and charged with murder, along with several traffic violations. He is being held at the Metro Jail pending a bond hearing.
