OHIO — One person was killed and several others were injured in a multi-vehicle crash Tuesday evening on Interstate 480, according to Twinsburg police.
The crash occurred around 9:15 p.m. in the eastbound lanes near the 37-mile marker. Police said a vehicle traveling eastbound was struck by another car, causing it to overturn onto its roof. The impact ejected one व्यक्ति from the vehicle.
While the vehicle remained overturned, it was struck by a second eastbound driver, which flipped the vehicle back onto its wheels.
When officers arrived at the scene, the ejected victim was found lying on the roadway and was pronounced dead. Authorities have not yet released the victim’s identity.
Two additional people were extricated from the overturned vehicle and transported to a local hospital for treatment. A third person from one of the other vehicles involved was also injured and taken by EMS to an area hospital.
The crash remains under investigation. Police said it is not yet known whether road conditions played a role in the incident.
