
ALABAMA — A two-vehicle crash on Interstate 65 in Cullman County left one man dead and several others injured Friday afternoon, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
ALEA said the crash occurred at approximately 2:10 p.m. on Interstate 65 near Cullman County Route 222. Investigators said the collision involved a 2006 Toyota Tundra and a 2005 Infiniti G35, with the Toyota striking the Infiniti.
Gregory B. Booker, 33, of Cullman, was a passenger in the Infiniti and was fatally injured in the crash. ALEA reported that Booker was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the collision and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Toyota Tundra and two juvenile passengers sustained injuries and were transported to local hospitalsfor treatment. The driver of the Infiniti and another passenger were airlifted to UAB Hospital in Birmingham to be treated for injuries suffered in the wreck.
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division is investigating the crash. No additional details were immediately available.
