SOUTH CAROLINA — A multi-vehicle crash early Wednesday morning claimed the life of a Greer man, authorities report.
Just before 6:30 a.m., a 1997 GMC truck rear-ended a disabled dump truck stopped in the middle of Highway 101 near 3060 Highway 101, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
The driver of the GMC, 55-year-old Rogelio Hernandez-Grijalva of Greer, died at the scene, the Spartanburg County Coroner’s Office confirmed.
The crash remains under investigation by the Highway Patrol.
