TEXAS — A man died following a single-vehicle crash on a highway ramp in Austin Saturday night, according to police.
The Austin Police Department said the crash occurred on the ramp from Interstate 35 southbound to U.S. Highway 290 eastbound.
Officers responded to the scene at approximately 9:38 p.m., where the driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities said the crash is being investigated as the city’s 22nd fatal crash of 2026.
The investigation remains ongoing.
