
OHIO — One person was killed in a crash involving a semitruck in southeast Columbus on Tuesday morning.
According to a Columbus Public Safety dispatcher, the crash occurred around 7:55 a.m. in the area of Alum Creek Drive and Creekway Drive. One person was pronounced dead at the scene at approximately 8:09 a.m. No other injuries were reported.
As a result of the crash, Alum Creek Drive has been closed between Williams Road and New World Drive. Officials have not said how long the roadway will remain closed.
The cause of the crash has not been released, and the incident remains under investigation.
