WISCONSIN — A Waukesha woman was killed in a rollover crash late Wednesday night in Fond du Lac County, according to authorities.
The crash occurred around 11:52 p.m. at the intersection of County Highways W and BB in the Town of Ashford, the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office said.
Preliminary findings indicate the woman was driving a pickup truck when she failed to negotiate a curve on Highway BB. The vehicle left the roadway, went down an embankment, struck a culvert and overturned onto Highway W.
The 30-year-old woman, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name has not been released.
The crash led to the closure of the intersection for approximately three hours as crews worked the scene.
The incident remains under investigation.
