
VIRGINIA — A Chatham man is dead following a single-vehicle crash in Pittsylvania County late Saturday night, according to Virginia State Police.
The crash occurred around 10:35 p.m. on Route 790, just east of Route 794.
Investigators say a Ford Explorer was traveling west on Route 790 when it veered off the right side of the road, struck a ditch, overturned, and ejected the driver.
The driver, identified as 45-year-old Jeremy Roberts of Chatham, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident remains under investigation by Virginia State Police.
