VIRGINIA — Virginia State Police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred early Sunday morning in Nelson County.
According to Virginia State Police, the crash happened at approximately 1 a.m. on Route 60 near Tye River Road.
Authorities said Porsche Christinia Vaughn, 39, of Gladstone, was driving a Chrysler Town and Country eastbound when the vehicle ran off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree.
Vaughn was pronounced dead at the scene. No other vehicles were reported to be involved in the crash.
Virginia State Police said the cause of the crash remains under investigation, and no additional details were immediately available.
