VIRGINIA — A 33-year-old man died Sunday evening following a two-vehicle crash on Chesdin Lake Road, according to Virginia State Police.
The crash occurred around 6:03 p.m. near the intersection with Namozine Road. Police reported that a 2016 Ford F-150 crossed the centerline and collided head-on with a Ford F-450.
The driver of the F-150, Jacob S. Barnes, 33, of Amelia County, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the F-450 was injured and taken to a local hospital.
Authorities say the crash remains under investigation.
