TEXAS — One person died Wednesday night after a single-vehicle crash on State Highway 161, according to the Irving Police Department.
Officers responded around 9:35 p.m. to reports of a crash near SH-161. When they arrived, they found a vehicle that had left the roadway and struck a concrete bridge support beneath the highway.
Police said the driver was the only occupant in the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities have not released the identity of the driver. The crash remains under investigation.
