TEXAS — A woman was killed early Monday morning in a fiery crash on a South Loop service road, according to the Houston Police Department.

The victim, identified only as a 38-year-old woman, has not yet been officially identified pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
Police said no other vehicles were involved. The crash remains under investigation.
