TENNESSEE — A crash in the Priest Lake area early Tuesday morning claimed the life of one person, according to the Metro Nashville Police Department.
The collision occurred around 4 a.m. on Sept. 16 at the intersection of Bell Road and Ned Shelton Road. Preliminary investigations indicate that 26-year-old Kyree Hollins, driving a southbound Nissan Rogue, crossed the double yellow line and struck a northbound GMC Terrain.
Hollins was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Terrain was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said the Medical Examiner’s Office will perform toxicology testing to determine whether impairment contributed to the crash. No further details have been released.
