
TENNESSEE — A 58-year-old man died early Sunday morning in a crash on Interstate 40, according to the Metro Nashville Police Department.
Police said the driver of a Cadillac CTS was traveling near the I-65 North split when the vehicle veered off the roadway for unknown reasons.
The car struck a light pole and then hit a concrete culvert.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene, and police are working to notify his family. Investigators said there was no evidence of impairment.
The crash remains under investigation.
