SOUTH CAROLINA — A fatal crash on Friday evening claimed one life and left another injured, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
The collision occurred at 8:52 p.m. at the intersection of US 76 and South Fire Tower Road.
A 2024 Toyota minivan, traveling east on US 76, struck a 2014 Chevrolet sedan on the driver’s side as the sedan attempted to cross US 76 from South Fire Tower Road.
The sedan’s passenger died from injuries sustained in the crash, while the driver was injured. The minivan had one occupant, who was also injured.
The Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crash.
