SOUTH CAROLINA — One person was killed and another was hospitalized following a car crash near a charter school in Greenville County Tuesday afternoon, authorities said.
The crash occurred near Brashier Middle College on West Georgia Road. Officials have not released details about how the crash happened.
The Greenville County Coroner’s Office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol responded to the scene. The identity of the person who died has not been released.
Authorities said another individual involved in the crash, who was identified as a student at the school, was transported to a hospital for treatment. The individual’s condition was not immediately available.
The incident remains under investigation.
