SOUTH CAROLINA — The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly crash that occurred Tuesday evening on US 52 near Butterbean Drive.
According to Cpl. Nick Pye, the collision happened around 7 p.m.
A 2019 GMC SUV was traveling south when a 2004 Honda SUV, heading east, crossed left of center and struck the GMC.
The driver of the GMC died at the scene, while the Honda driver was hospitalized with injuries. Authorities have not yet released the identities of those involved.
