SOUTH CAROLINA — One person was killed and two others were hospitalized following a crash on Highway 501 Tuesday evening, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred around 8:45 p.m. near the Marion County line. Master Trooper Brandon Bolt said the vehicle, traveling north on Highway 501, went into a ditch and overturned several times.
Three people were in the car. Two were taken to a nearby hospital, while the third was pronounced dead at the scene.
