SOUTH CAROLINA — A man was killed late Wednesday night in a single-vehicle crash on Wahee Road, according to authorities.
The S.C. Highway Patrol said the crash happened around 11:09 p.m. near Cool Springs Road. A Nissan sedan traveling south ran off the right side of the road and struck a tree.
The 31-year-old driver, who was the only person in the vehicle, sustained fatal injuries, Marion County Deputy Coroner Jim Gray confirmed. His name has not yet been released.
The crash remains under investigation by the S.C. Highway Patrol.
