
SOUTH CAROLINA — One person was killed in an early morning crash Saturday about four miles north of Timmonsville, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
The crash happened around 1:05 a.m. on Creek Road. Troopers said a pickup truck traveling north went off the right side of the roadway, then overcorrected to the left before striking a ditch and a tree.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
