SOUTH CAROLINA — One person was killed in a two-car crash Wednesday morning in Chesterfield County, according to state troopers.
The crash occurred around 7 a.m. on August 6 along U.S. Highway 52 near Bethel Church Road in Cheraw.
Troopers said a northbound Honda collided with a Chrysler that was attempting to make a left turn onto the highway. The driver of the Honda was pronounced dead at the scene. The Chrysler driver was transported to a nearby hospital. Both drivers were the only occupants of their vehicles.
The identity of the deceased has not been released, and the condition of the Chrysler driver is currently unknown.
Authorities have not announced any charges as the investigation continues.
