One person dead following vehicle crash in Pennsylvania

PENNSYLVANIA — A 36-year-old woman from Carbon County died Monday morning following a three-vehicle collision in Lynn Township near New Tripoli.

The crash occurred around 1 a.m. at the intersection of Route 309 and Mountain Road and involved a tractor-trailer and two other vehicles.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have not yet released her name.

The investigation into the fatal crash is ongoing in Lehigh County.

No other information has been released at this time.
