PENNSYLVANIA — A woman died Thursday evening following a crash on Interstate 84, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
The crash occurred in the westbound left lane near mile marker 6, where the road curves.
Police say the driver, 42-year-old Melanie Colazzo, failed to follow the curve and continued straight, veering off the road to the south.
Her vehicle struck several roadside signs before coming to a stop.
Police said Colazzo was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other passengers were in the vehicle. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
