PENNSYLVANIA — A woman was killed in a two vehicle crash Thursday afternoon in Monroe County, according to the Monroe County Coroner.
Officials said the crash occurred just before 3 p.m. on Route 611 in Stroudsburg. Emergency crews responded to the scene and the woman was transported to a local hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.
Authorities have not yet released the identity of the victim.
The circumstances surrounding the crash have not been released. The Stroud Area Regional Police Department is investigating the incident.
