PENNSYLVANIA — A man was killed late Friday night after crashing into a tree in the Roxborough section of the Philadelphia, police said.
The crash occurred around 11 p.m. near the intersection of Henry Avenue and Gates Street.
According to investigators, the driver lost control of the vehicle before striking a tree. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other injuries were reported. Authorities are still investigating what caused the driver to lose control.
Henry Avenue was closed for several hours as police processed the scene.
