
PENNSYLVANIA — A 28-year-old man died Wednesday evening following a two-vehicle crash along Route 40 in Fayette County, according to authorities.
Bob Baker, the Fayette County Coroner’s Office, said his office was called to the scene along Route 40 east, just outside of Hopewood, shortly before 7 p.m. after reports of a crash.
Baker said the victim was identified as Michael Duritsky Jr., 28, of Addison. Duritsky was pronounced dead at the scene as a result of injuries sustained in the crash.
The driver of the other vehicle involved was not injured, officials said.
Authorities did not specify whether a tractor-trailer was involved in the crash. Additional details about the circumstances of the incident were not immediately released. The crash remains under investigation.
