PENNSYLVANIA — A 33-year-old woman died Wednesday following a single-vehicle crash in Lycoming County, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
Troopers said Tawnyrae Shook was driving north on German Road in Franklin Township near Lairdsville when she lost control while navigating a downhill curve. Her vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree.
Shook was transported to a hospital, where she later died from her injuries. Authorities reported that she had been wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. Snow and ice were present on the roadway, contributing to hazardous driving conditions.
