
PENNSYLVANIA — One person was killed and another injured in a single-vehicle crash Tuesday evening in eastern Lancaster County, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
The crash happened around 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 8 in the 5200 block of Mine Road in Sadsbury Township.
Investigators said a Chevrolet Cruze was traveling east on Mine Road when it left the roadway and struck a utility pole. The front-seat passenger was pronounced dead at the scene. Their identity has not yet been released.
The driver, a man, was taken to Lancaster General Hospital. His condition has not been disclosed.
State police said they were assisted at the scene by the Lancaster County Coroner’s Office, the Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office, and specialized units from Troop J, including the Forensic Services and Collision Analysis & Reconstruction teams.
The crash remains under investigation.
